Idly he accessed Yggdrassil for a random search as He sipped a cup of hot tea. After a while He came across an unusual file. This file seemed to be larger than most other mortals' files. Curious, He opened that file titled 'Ranma Saotome'. Interesting, Kami-sama mused. A boy cursed to change into a girl with cold water, saddled with multiple fiancess, a horde of rivals, plus both of his forms attracted enemies AND admirers alike. Add to that a father who has a similar curse but changed to a panda and forcing him into an engagement he didnt like, and making his life hell with more blunders, lies and twisted tales to make Shakespeare cry with envy. And wouldn't let him see his mother for fear of seppuku. A coward with more faults and bad habits than you can shake ten thousand sticks at. Then there's the malleting, beating, ego bruising, insults, and challenges the boy had suffered under his father's 'man amongst men' promise and the people around him didnt help at all. Almost all of them slowly made Ranma getting more and more tired of his life. And coupled with that the deep longing he had for his mother's approval and love made him sad and angry at his own life. An violent-oriented girl with anger at her mother's death still not suffused enough to deal with normal life. She conveniently lashed out at the only target she looked at and vented her pent up anger and frustrations at him. A chef who under Genma's dishonourable act had been forced to give up her own life and live a miserable existence compounded by her unrequited love for her best friend. An Amazon who fell victim to her village's archaic laws and who in the begining had been forced to go after the redhead only to discover the truth and even then refused to accept the truth and chose to believe a lie she told herself. A gynmast who lost a part of herself when her mother abandoned their family and indulged herself in mad schemes and unscrupulous attitudes towards others. She refused to believe that the 'pigtailed harlot' and her Ranma-sama are the SAME person. Her insane laugh didnt help either. Not that the rest of the people Ranma knew helped either. A lost wanderer who couldn't admit his own faults and seek to blame it on the one person who have been kind and friendly to him. He could'nt get rid of his depression and anger even though Ranma helped him numerous times. His act of hugging Akane while in cursed form as P-chan and refusing to tell her the truth made Ranma feel worse. A kendoist whose rich pompous ego had been deflated by Ranma refused to let go of his delusions and his refusal to believe Ranma and Ranma-chan are one and the same person by trying to kill one and loving the other. A blind as a bat weapons master who was another victim of his Village Laws and forced to challenge his love, later humiliated. Not thinking twice about the stupid challenges, he made Ranma's life worse by being blind in his mind too. A old lech and master who was the main reason for Genma's despicable and dishonourable deeds. He glomped every girl he saw and steal their underwear whenever possible. Making life more difficult for Ranma, splashing him with cold water and glomping her chest after that. Not all are bad either. An Amazon elder who only wanted to make use of Ranma and saw Ranma as the perfect breeding stock for her village. She did however grew fond of him later and started treating him better. More and more she looked like she left it entirely to her great granddaughter to lure Ranma back without meddling in the relationship. A mercenary girl whose only job seems to be making money on the expense of Ranma. She was forced to be the breadwinner of the family after her father stopped teaching martial art classes. However later she too grew fond of him and became friends with him. She had since helped him on numerous occasions. A young woman forced into service by the death of her mother. Sensing her family immiment breakup, she sacrificed what remained of her teenage years to assume the role of housekeeper. A cheerful girl with an angelic smile, she brought some relief to Ranma's fragile soul. Taking a deep sigh and shaking his head, he read the technical part of Ranma's file and found bugs and a whole slew of chaotic material. No wonder the boy's life is a mess. Hmm, Kami-sama thought as he brought on his viewing screen to scan Midgard. We could see a familiar red haired girl scowling and wringing her clothes dry. Well my child, i am going to offer you a choice. Soon you can decide whether you want to follow your heart's desires. Kami-sama turned back to the screen and watched as Ranma-chan kicked Tatewaki Kunou for glomping her..... yet again. Yes i better get Belldandy to tell him .... or is it her?
